The Digital Realty Johannesburg JB2 Data Center, situated at Teraco – JB2 Data Centre, Bredell Campus, 1st Road, Glenmarais, Kempton Park, South Africa, is an expansive facility spanning 182,986 square feet. While information on the gross colocation space is currently unavailable, the data center boasts a substantial power capacity of 24 MW. Furthermore, a total of 16 other data center locations have been identified within a 50-mile radius of this site. This location holds several key certifications, including PCI-DSS, ISAE-3402, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ISO 90001, and ISO 14001, underscoring its commitment to security, operational excellence, energy management, quality management, and environmental management.
This state-of-the-art data center campus offers over 45,000 square meters of space and is designed for 40MW of IT power, providing ample room for client expansion. It features world-class data center infrastructure and dense network ecosystems, establishing it as a critical hub for the African Internet. This allows customers seamless access to a wide array of service providers and cloud platforms. This data center also incorporates advanced sustainable water management systems, including rainwater harvesting and closed-loop cooling, showcasing our most efficient mechanical cooling design to date.
